By adding to the exotic botanicals the cherry blossom, the iconic symbol of Japan, Akori has created a delicious gin with a soft pink color, ideal for a contemporary blending, suitable for an esthetic and hedonistic public. The bottle resembles that of the original Akori gin, but is pink instead of blue and features a branch of cherry blossoms instead of bamboo.

Produced in Spain, but of Japanese inspiration, Akori Cherry Blossom Gin is distilled from rice alcohol, with Western botanicals and Japanese botanicals, of which the main one is the cherry blossom, “sakura” in Japanese.

Akori Cherry Blossom Gin feels soft, but less than one might expect. Citrus and floral, it retains an elegant and rigid character, perhaps due to the land of the Rising Sun which inspired it. Interesting how the floral notes of cherry blossoms blend with those of citrus and ginger.
