The nose immediately strikes the scent of black tomato, sweet and fruity but not too much, with a herbaceous touch, all balanced by a lighter note of juniper. The slightly salty flavor of the gin immediately gives way to the fresh and sweet notes of the tomato, which clearly predominate over everything, but which are also combined with flavors that are more difficult to categorize, but which make this particular gin unique. In blending it is the flavor of the tomato that emerges decisively.

Black Tomato Gin was born from an idea of ​​two Dutch entrepreneurs, one with a passion for gin and the other with the hobby of growing black tomatoes. The gin is distilled at Kampen Distillery, in the Netherlands, and is inspired by the environment surrounding the distillery, but the botanicals used have not been revealed. It is known that it contains black tomatoes from southern Sicily and a little salt water and that tomatoes are the distinctive feature of this gin. The black bottle is very particular and does not fail to be noticed, as well as the unique flavor of the gin!

To produce Black Tomato Gin, fresh tomatoes are harvested and, once crushed, they are combined with the neutral spirit, which is then filtered and distilled. A second distillate is produced with juniper and a third with the other botanicals and then the three distillates are combined. A little purified sea water and wheat spirit are added to the whole. The gin is then diluted until it reaches an alcohol content of 42.3%. The black bottle is very particular and does not fail to be noticed, as well as the unique flavor of the gin
