This "Monsieur" of the Professor is a Gin that the Antica Distilleria Quaglia makes from a recipe where, apart from several botanical elements that come from Umbria and Tuscany, there is a secret ingredient. On the other hand, there must be something hidden in a Gin that Carlo Quaglia, director of the distillery, developed together with the guys from Jerry Thomas, a speakeasy in Rome, precisely to celebrate the illegal American bars that, during the era of prohibition, distilled alcohol regardless of the prohibitions and risks. A truly original Gin, which, precisely because of the high level of craftsmanship required in each production phase, is created in a few exclusive numbered bottles.

The "Monsieur" Del Professore Gin is produced by the Antica Distilleria Quaglia by adding other botanical elements to the juniper, among which lavender, orange, angelica, chamomile, vanilla and cinnamon stand out. It is a distillate that is inspired by the production methods typical of the era of American prohibition; in fact, in this period the so-called "speakeasy" bars were born, secret haunts where, to distill, small containers such as bathtubs were used, in English "bathtub", to mix alcohol with spices cold. Gin "Monsieur" is a tribute to these highly artisanal techniques.
