Making a single-variety grappa is not easy: you work with grapes from the same family and the risk of making a 'flat' product is always around the corner. For this reason, to make its Grappa di Chardonnay, Marzadro distils the pomace directly in a bain-marie in a discontinuous alembic, while the aging lasts at least 36 months in small 225lt oak barrels, the so-called jars which, given their small size, they cradle the Grappa and amalgamate all the aromatic and gustatory sensations. What emerges is a unique distillate, with a masterful balance.

Bright amber yellow color, with vivid bronzed reflections, it has an elegant, refined and very intense nose of sage, rosemary and thyme, hints of wildflower honey and chamomile, with sweet hints of yellow peach jam. Warm, soft and round tasting, it does not lack a personal touch that results in hints of toasted dried fruit, almond and hazelnut. The spicy finish is long and persistent.
