Centuries after its founding, the Royal Oak Distillery, in County Carlow, continues to produce Irish Whiksy faithful to the monastic tradition, which began in the 12th century and passed down to the present day. The range produced, under the name of The Busker, comes from a careful selection of first choice barley, grown in the wild and uncontaminated soils of the county and the Single Malt, with the unmistakable blue band on the label, represents its standard classic. Distilled three times in ancient Pot Still type copper stills, this Whiskey refines, for at least three years, in toasted oak barrels, previously containing Bourbon and Sherry, which contribute to delineating its enveloping aromatic profile.

Intense golden yellow color, the nose is distinguished by clear tropical and exotic fruity notes of mango, papaya and banana, then dried yellow flowers and hints of dry biscuits and butter, with a smoky tip of toasted almond. Creamy, soft and rich taste, it shows warmth and structure and a perfect cohesion with the aromatic sensations that also characterize the long and persistent finish.
