The Chimay monastery is one of only six monasteries in Belgium that can boast the title "authentic Trappist product", a quality brand now known all over the world. The types produced are 3 (few but good!) Chimay Bianca is a tripel, bottle-refermented Trappist beer produced in the Belgian Abbey of Scourmont in Belgium, according to a natural recipe that expertly uses the usual ingredients: water, malt, yeast and hop.

At the sight the white cap Chimay shows an amber color, a bright orange-honey; the foam is very fine and abundant. The aroma is intense, sweet and fruity (apricots and grapes in alcohol).

In the mouth a liqueur scent is distinctly perceived, associated with bitterness and acidity. The sparklingness is not accentuated, to the detriment of what one might think when noting the strong effervescence (characteristic of all tripels) that manifests itself in the bottle even before pouring the Chimay and the aftertaste is fruity, sweet.

The body is light but obviously reveals all 8 degrees of this beer.
