The Franciacorta “Alma Grande Cuvée non Dosato” by Bellavista is one of the most interesting labels of the famous sparkling wine house of Franciacorta. It's a cuvée created with the estate's best batches of Chardonnay, complemented by a small percentage of Pinot Noir. It is a Classic Method of great expressive refinement suitable for those who appreciate the clear purity of Pas Dosé, essential, linear and deep. The profile is taut and fresh, with floral notes, citrus and fruity scents and a pleasantly mineral finish.
The Bellavista “Alma Grande Cuvée non Dosato” is produced by a famous name of Franciacorta, which has contributed to making the history of this young and dynamic appellation, devoted exclusively to sparkling wine. Born in the 1970s from the passion of Vittorio Moretti, today it represents a symbol of quality and one of the most prestigious and well-known brands in the world of Franciacorta. Bellavista can count on an extraordinary park of about 200 hectares of vineyards, scattered between Erbusco and the best areas of the Franciacorta area. A variety of different microclimates and soils, which thanks to separate vinifications, allows you to have a wide choice of base wines for the creation of the cuvées, without counting on the precious heritage of reserve wines preserved in the cellars of Erbusco: an indispensable wealth for realize the large non-vintage assemblages of the Alma line.
The “Alma Grande Cuvée” Zero Dosage by Bellavista is a Franciacorta that comes from the desire to create a Classic Method with a fresh and elegant style. It is a non-vintage created with a selection of about 80 base wines to which 9 vintages of reserve wines are added, to make the cuvée more harmonious and balanced. At the end of the vinification of the bases and the definition of the assembly, the second fermentation takes place in the bottle with a rest on the lees for at least 30 months. In the glass it shows a brilliant straw yellow color, crossed by a fine and persistent perlage. The bouquet expresses delicate aromas of white flowers, notes of bread crust, citrus and fruity aromas. The sip is long and savory, with a vertical development, which accompanies towards a persistent finish of lively freshness. It is a perfect label to bring to the table throughout the meal with a seafood menu.
