The aroma of juniper and citrus is combined with the secondary aroma of oak with a truly unusual result. On the palate the notes of coriander, citrus and juniper immediately stand out, followed by earthy notes. The dry finish completes this easy tasting during which all the ingredients become discernible one after the other.

Tim Moor, design expert, and Nick Dymoke-Marr, beverage expert, decided to combine their talents to create a new product. The idea came when they discovered that an ancient aquifer is located in Skiddaw Mountain. They worked to bring it back to the surface, determined to use that water so pure and with unique organoleptic characteristics for their product. This water is important for the brand and has inspired the ethical code based on quality, geographical location and tradition. The production of the gin was handed over to G&J Distillers, which is also located in the north-west of England. For bottling, the product is sent back north to remain faithful to their pride as Northern English. Another peculiarity of this gin is the fact that it has, among its botanicals, oak bark taken from centenary trees in the Lake District Park area. The label is very particular and colorful, while the bottle takes up the shapes of Skiddaw Mountain and is inspired by a slate plate found on the mountain. The strange shape instead takes its cue from the gin flasks in use in the 1700s. The green, blue and gray colors recall those of the Lake District on rainy days.
Langtons N.1 is distilled with the traditional method in a copper alembic. The botanicals remain infused in an exceptionally pure grain alcohol base. Four distillations are required to complete the production, after which filtered water from an ancient aquifer is added to the liquid.
